Pulang kerja tadi ketemu dengan landlord, trus quick chit chat nanya-nanya saya pindahnya kemana and bla..bla trus, dia bilang karena saya sudah ngasih notice ke Management, artinya dia bisa enter my suit anytime and she has right to do so, well.. kita sebenarnya belum siap, ada beberapa barang yang rencananya mau disimpan di bank locker kita tapi gak sempat terus, akhirnya jadi kayak gini deh.
Well, saya coba nelphon ke help line trus nanya-nanya soal tenant right, menurut mereka the landlord harus ngasih notice paling gak 24 jam sebelumnya, trus dia ngasih nomer telp yang harus saya hubungi untuk mendapatkan legal info yang lebih akurat, sayangnya office mereka sudah tutup, then saya coba googling dan dapat info seperti ini,
Entry to show rental unit to prospective tenants
(3) A landlord may enter the rental unit without written notice to show the unit to prospective tenants if,
(a) the landlord and tenant have agreed that the tenancy will be terminated or one of them has given notice of termination to the other;
(b) the landlord enters the unit between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.; and
(c) before entering, the landlord informs or makes a reasonable effort to inform the tenant of the intention to do so. 2006, c. 17, s. 26 (3).
Nah, kayaknya memang tidak perlu ngasih written notice tapi paling gak ngasih info menurut analisa saya pada point (c), bingung euy !! well, besok harus nelphon ke kantor tenant right biar lebih jelas. Wish me luck !
